Taking Screenshot in these days is very important for everyone. Sometimes you really need to save some chat or online stuff in that case screenshot helps you. But if you recently bought new iPhone X then you know that they removed the home button. So it’s not that easy to take a screenshot on iPhone like before.
As in the old models of iPhone you just had to press Home + side button at the same time to take a screenshot but now as you don’t have home button then how you can do it? Don’t worry I am here to tell you how you can do it without the home button.
It’s just little bit different but easy as same before. Here I am sharing two new methods to take a screenshot on iPhone X. Let’s start
How to Take A Screenshot on iPhone X
Just like the old method here we will use the buttons to take screenshot. But as this time we don’t have the home button so we will use the other button combination. Just follow as written below and screenshot will be taken.
- First open the screen which you want to take screenshot of.
- Now from the right side of your iPhone X press and hold the side button.
- While holding the side button press the Volume Up button. (Here volume up button will play the role of Home button)
- When you will press the Volume Up button you see the white/flash screen and camera shutter sound can be heard.
So that’s it you have successfully taken the screenshot on iPhone X using buttons. But if you don’t want to use the buttons and want to take screenshot then use the below given method.
Take a Screenshot on iPhone X Without Using Buttons
Step 1. First open Settings and go to Generals.
Step 2. Tap on Accessibility and select AssistiveTouch.
Step 3. It will be off by default, here you have to turn it on.
Step 4. Now on your screen you will be able to see AssistiveTouch shortcut, Open it.
Step 5. Click on Device and then select More.
Step 6. Now here select the Screenshot option.
After that SS will be taken and you can edit it, share it or can do whatever you want to do with it.
